Widnes Wild IHC are delighted to announce the re-signing of Tom Jackson as Head Coach for the 25/26 season!

TJ is certainly no stranger to the Wild, having been a member of Widnes since our inaugural season, seeing him earn his way from Captaincy to Coach.

Following his re-signing to the club, TJ commented,

“I’m overjoyed to be return as Head Coach for the 25/26 season. I felt last year came with an array of challenges, but finished the season with the group pulling together to push for a playoff spot and narrowly missing out.

Next season will be a new opportunity to continue building the club for the future and creating a culture within the club with the values and expectations set by the steering group, which myself and the team will follow.

I will be bringing in some fresh faces, but also retain some of the existing squad which I’m excited to be announced in the coming weeks.

Last season saw a strong partnership between our academy and senior side which I am eager to strengthen this year to aid development. My focus will be delivering a product on the ice, which our loyal and dedicated supporters can be excited to come and watch, whilst also helping the club grow and draw in a fresh fanbase.
