Widnes Wild are pleased to confirm that pioneering foster care recruitment service, Foster4 will be partnering with The Wild as an official sponsor for the 2023/24 season. Foster4 are a collaborative project recruiting foster carers on behalf of Cheshire West and Chester Council; Halton Borough Council; Warrington Borough Council. Working since 2018 with aims to provide more foster carers, providing greater support to existing foster carers and ultimately keeping more local children in their community. Fostering is a truly rewarding, accessible and flexible, home-based role that can appeal to people from all walks of life. Foster carers don’t necessarily need to have a large house, just a spare bedroom that a child can call their own in a warm and welcoming home, and the time in their life to care for them. We provide all the training they need as well as exceptional support, allowances and benefits. Some of our foster carers have been fostering with us for over 50 years, others just a few months but all of them are ordinary people doing an extraordinary role.
“We’re delighted to be sponsoring the Widnes Wild this season.”, Marketing and Recruitment Manager Laura Kendall declared. “Ice hockey is such an exciting and entertaining sport for all the family, and that’s what we at Foster4 are all about, families! It really is a privilege to have such a great team right here in our local area and we can’t wait for the upcoming season to start. Keep your eye out for us, we’ll be popping up at some of the home games!”
Foster4 are a familiar face at Wild home games, as Danny Davies explains: “For our fans who have been with us for a long time, Foster4 is a familiar name, as they have actively participated in previous home games, running a stall and distributing flyers to promote their work. We’re thrilled to announce that after productive discussions towards the end of last season, Foster4 have now joined us as an official sponsor! We’re excited to collaborate with Foster4 and assist them in spreading the message about the incredible work and support they offer.”
