Widnes Wild would Like to welcome Thomas Mardell on a 2-way with Bradford Bulldogs
Tom is a 17 year old forward who started playing in 2015 and progressed from the under 9’s at Bradford through to then NIHL 2 team last season, where he played 5 games for the Bulldogs, scoring his first senior goal. Tom is now looking to take the next step in his development and he will be looking to join the Wild whenever possible.

Tom said on his call up to the team “I’m very happy to be joining this brilliant club to take the next step in my career, thank you to Joey for giving me this opportunity, I’m looking forward to playing in front of the Widnes fans”

Joey said ‘’Tom has been skating with us over the summer and he just gets better every week, every practise we are noticing more and more talent. You can expect speed and lots of it, won’t give D-men a second to breathe. This young guy made a great first impression with the right attitude and just wants to be his best. Tom will be playing big minutes over at Bradford so when does make an appearance for us, he’ll be coming in sharp and ready to play.‘’
