Are you wanting to play for the Widnes Wild? We're a semi-pro ice hockey club based at the Planet Ice rink in Widnes, in the North West of England. We currently play in the English Ice Hockey Association's NIHL North 1 league.
The Widnes Wild are based in Widnes, a town in the North West of England, and only 25 minutes drive from Liverpool.
The Wild compete in NIHL North 1 league structure, which consists of 8 teams, other clubs are the Blackburn Hawks, Billingham Stars, Whitley Warriors, Solihull Barons, Nottingham Lions, Hull Jets and the Sheffield Scimitars.
The Wild has celebrated winning 7 titles in 10 year history, and recently the club has been taken over by a private ownership group, who have ambitions to help bring the club continued success.
