Widnes Wild are delighted to announce the re-signing of forward Jordan Jolly for the 2026/27 season.

Jolly returns for his second season in Widnes after an impressive debut campaign that showcased both his ability on the ice and his resilience away from it.

The forward faced an early setback through injury during his first season with the club, but showed tremendous character and determination to work his way back into the lineup. Upon his return, Jolly quickly became an important part of the Wild forward group, making a valuable contribution as the team pushed towards the playoff places.

Now fully fit and heading into his second year in black and yellow, Jolly is eager to build on the foundations laid during his first season and help the Wild continue their progression throughout the 2026/27 campaign.

Speaking after committing his future to the club, Jolly said:

“Super excited to be re-signing with the Widnes Wild for the upcoming season. After a thoroughly enjoyable year last year, I’m really looking forward to seeing what we as a group can do this year. Can’t wait to see all the Wild fans down at the Jungle in September!”

Head Coach Tom Jackson believes Jolly’s resilience and attitude make him an important part of the squad.

“Jordan had a great season last year considering what he went through early on in the year. Coming back from such an injury speaks for the character he brings both on and off the ice. I’ll be looking to Jolly to continue where he left off last season and contribute to the team we have built for this season both on and off the ice.”

With a full pre-season ahead of him and the confidence gained from overcoming adversity during his first year in Widnes, Jolly returns ready to make an even bigger impact. His determination, work ethic and positive influence around the group make him another important piece of the puzzle as the Wild continue building towards the new season.
